David Carr - biographical information

Studied at the SLADE SCHOOL OF FINE ART in the 1960's, where he was a prizewinning student,
followed by a DAVID MURRAY SCHOLARSHIP awarded by the Royal Academy,
a BOISE SCHOLARSHIP from University College London
and a period at the BRITISH SCHOOL AT ROME.

He was elected a MEMBER of THE LONDON GROUP in 1987
having exhibited with them since 1965 as well as with the ROYAL ACADEMY.

He has shown in all the major group shows including :-
THE HUNTING GROUP
LAING
SINGER & FRIEDLANDER
CLEVELAND DRAWING BIENNALE (PRIZEWINNER)

Numerous solo shows include
CAMDEN ARTS CENTRE
CADOGAN CONTEMPORARY
BARBICAN CENTRE
WALK GALLERY
ADAM BUTLER FINE ART

He divides his time between London and San Francisco where he exhibits with the
THOMAS REYNOLDS GALLERY.
